In June 2004, Montgomery County issued a request for proposal for operation and management services for the Montgomery County Jail.
Medical care, food service, laundry, and general living conditions are provided in accordance with standards required by the USMS, as well as by ICE.
The center contains a fully equipped kitchen to provide meals for all, interior recreational areas, laundry, commissary, multi-purpose rooms, public visitation and lawyer visitation areas.
The center achieved initial accreditation through the American Correctional Association in 2013 and re-accreditation in 2016 with a score of 97.90%. The facility was also re-accredited by the National Commission on Correctional Health Care (NCCHC) in 2017.
