The 36,704 sq. ft., one-story masonry building was built on five acres of land. It has a well-equipped health care unit and rooms for classroom instruction, counseling, and visitation. Educational areas include a computer laboratory and a library, and indoor and outdoor recreational areas are available. It also features a fully equipped kitchen for meal service. The dayrooms and sleeping areas are well-furnished, clean, and comfortable. The modern design incorporates correctional techniques such as radial design and direct supervision.
Under a previous contract, the facility was accredited by the American Correctional Association (ACA) in 2016.
