A December to Remember: Karnes County Immigration Processing Center Sponsors 21 Children for the Holidays

This past holiday season, our facility embraced the spirit of giving through a heartwarming initiative called “December to Remember.” We partnered with CAST (Children’s Alliance of South Texas) to bring joy to children in need during the holidays.

CAST is a non-profit organization dedicated to being a leader in improving safety, justice, and healing for victims and their families. Since 2013, CAST has provided trauma-informed, child-friendly services to over 4,000 children.

Through this partnership, our dedicated staff sponsored 21 children, ensuring that each received every item on their holiday wish list. From toys and clothing to special surprises, our team went above and beyond to ensure these children experienced the joy and magic of the season.

This effort reflects our commitment to community outreach and charitable involvement. It was truly inspiring to witness our staff come together, demonstrating compassion and generosity that will leave a lasting impact on these families.

We are proud to have contributed to creating cherished memories for these children and look forward to continuing our support for CAST and similar initiatives in the future.
